- Further Information -Manflex Ltd. is a privately owned company which was formed by the present Chairman, Eric Dutton, in 1974. The Managing Director is Neil Dutton who joined the company in 1979 following three years at Liverpool Marine Engineering College and after serving in the Merchant Navy for six years. The Company Secretary and Administration Director is Alison Moody who has been with the company since joining as a school- leaver in 1987. Jason Burrows has been with the company for six years coming from a progression of hydraulic appointments within the industry and has recently been promoted to the post of “very hands-on” Operations Director. Among the major supply partners are:- Stauff, Aeroquip, Parker Hannifin, Schwer, ESI, Camozzi, and Flowtech. In the past few years Manflex has changed its focus from being a major supplier to large OEM’s to become a specialist Spare- Parts supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies. Part Numbers are able to be identified for Earth-moving Machines, Fork-lift Trucks, Mobile and Static Compressors, and Commercial Vehicles. Prices are competitive and most Parts can be supplied either immediately or within 24/48 hours of order to any UK location. Manflex is the largest UK supplier of Thermoplastic Sewer Jetting Hose Assemblies for commercial drain cleaning and supplies Distributors and End Users. Its quality ESH Hose is acknowledged as the best there is, and is available in bore sizes up to 1 ¼" with pressures up to 250 Bar. A significant proportion of Manflex assembly production goes to the beverage industry in the form of thermoplastic assemblies (both textile and wire reinforced) with either brass, stainless or mild steel couplings. Supply to the brewer is via specialist outlets. Manflex began supplying the Marine Industry several years ago with its trading being via a specialist marine division known to its customers as “Transflexit Marine”. This successful company continues to trade from its Oldham bases and is the sole UK supplier of Aeroquip Flexmaster Joints and Barco® Rotary and Swivel Unions.
